About Me

I produce interactive experiences guided by intentional design, technical expertise, and a desire to see my team members thrive.

I’m currently the Prototype Manager at MIT’s Center for Constructive Communication, where I manage the prototyping life cycle in an R&D to deployment environment. I help to identify promising research concepts to build into lightweight experimental prototypes to validate candidates for integration into production software or bring concepts all the way through their deployment as independent projects. I’ve helped to chart the path for cutting edge prototyping infrastructure and all while working across multiple projects at different stages.

As an engineer and writer, I am drawn to interdisciplinary projects that engage both my creative and technical skills. After earning my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (English minor) from Lafayette College, I conducted R&D, created web content, and managed supply chain development as a Product Engineer for U-Turn Audio. I then went on to work as a Technologist and Project Manager at Richard Lewis Media Group, where I prototyped, built, installed, and supported interactive exhibits for museums and institutions across North America.

My fiction and essays have been featured in The Drum, Rue Scribe, and Boston Hassle.

I’m an unabashed fan of email newsletters, crocheting, public transportation, and crocheting on public transportation.
